Winnetou 360°
Fulldome Visuals_2017
For the opening night of the 2017 Fulldome Festival at the Zeiss Planetarium Jena, the Prof. Micky Remann produced an immersive theater play which tells and narrates different moments and journeys of Winnetou inside the imaginary world of german author Karl May.
We were a group of 10 people on the creation of the audio visual experience. For this production I was in charge of the conception and development of the closing chapter of the narration of the theater play. This part of the play was focused on the death and spiritual rebirth of Winnetou, the american chief who brought together all the tribes in Karl May’s fantastic world.
The creation of the content was entirely made inside after effects and the creation of the 3d sound was produced in pro tools for a 13.1 sound system.
The following are the domemaster of the production, and the next video, is the 360° video that allocates the user like it was on the middle of the planetarium.
Here are some links to describe the whole conception of the project. {German audio only}
For a better experience of the 360° video, please use a google cardboard and a set of headphones
